Web Development Intern
Objective: We’re looking for a creative, multi-talented web development intern to help Latitude Labs (a Latitude company) with a variety of application development and testing-related tasks as we prepare for the public launch of Lumière, our groundbreaking video evaluation and analytics platform for creative media professionals (film studios, television networks, advertising agencies, etc.). This is a phenomenal opportunity for anyone looking to make a demonstrable impact on a launch product – and, more generally, to gain tech start-up experience.
Hours & Location: 32 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, Monday – Thursday, from our office in Beverly, MA. We would consider remote/flex work arrangements, subject to an appraisal of intern performance after the first few weeks.
Compensation: The internship position is compensated, and any paperwork required for college credit will be completed. Depending on the success of the internship – and mutual interest – Labs may extend an offer for a full-time, salaried position to commence after graduation.
Job Duties:
- Assist with server-side development and/or front-end CSS/HTML/Javascript code integration, testing and debugging
- Assist with test coverage planning, creation and execution (QA)
- Other project related tasks, as assigned
- Weekly check-in and code review
Desired Background:
- Working towards Computer Science (or related) degree OR demonstrable proficiency in front-end and/or back-end development

- MUST HAVE
- Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, Visual Studio) and C#
- HTML5, CSS3, Javascript with strong ability to debug/troubleshoot

Candidates will be required to submit a cover letter, resume, and, for candidates without computer science or related course work, a portfolio of past work. Following a two-stage interview process (phone and in-person), the successful applicant will be asked to submit a letter of recommendation and any paperwork required for internship completion/course credit.
