ThingLink Image Tagging Activity: Mobile Shopping & DiscoveryBy Kadley Gosselin May 17, 2012

Our latest L1 research activity features ThingLink image tagging, an easy-to-use but elegant tool that allows you to comment directly on an image (or a specific element in an image).
For this activity we’re curious to know how you think mobile devices can help you shop better and lead you to new experiences.
Update: This survey is now closed to participants. Stay tuned for the results.
Note: the activity is now closed but feel free to browse the tags below.
Information in Store
Imagine you’re shopping at a store for clothing, electronics, food, or some other item. With all the different kinds of content available through the Web, stores could probably do a better job of providing you with useful information while you’re in a physical store. (Right?)
In what ways could the stores you visit offer some more useful or entertaining information? (Remember to think about information you might receive on your smartphone and tablet.)

Shopping & New Experiences
Think of the last time you were pleasantly surprised while you were out at a restaurant, store, public market, local event, etc. Maybe you discovered a new place or a new product that was particularly useful or interesting to you.
What was interesting about how you discovered or ended up having the experience? (If you can’t think of a good answer, tell us: what would be a cool way to discover new things near you in the future?)
